Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream/Shake
Ingredients:
Ice cubes (I use about 4-6)
Frozen Ripe Banana (1 small banana or 3/4 of a larger one)
1 large Tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder
1 large Tbsp of PB2 (*PB2 is powdered peanut butter, you can also use any nut butter of your choosing but PB2 is low in fat and calories and adds a creamy texture to the blend)
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/4- 1/2 cup of almond milk (or any milk of your choosing)- more milk will make it more like a shake and less milk will make it more like ice cream
Optional Toppings: Shredded coconut flakes, dark chocolate chips, nuts, nut butter
Directions:
Blend all ingredients together until smooth, add any toppings of your choosing and ENJOY!
*for a sneaky way to get in some extra vegetables, add in some fresh spinach. It will NOT change the taste but is an easy way to get some extra vitamins. (If you do add the spinach, use a little less milk as the spinach breaks down it becomes watery)
